Recipe: Hot & Sour Soup with Cabbage (Miso Recipe)

This recipe was inspired by one of Shalom Serene Shick’s recipes on her HCG Coach site. Her version is raw.

400 g Cabbage, chopped
1 cup Water
12 drops Liquid stevia
2 Tbs Rice Vinegar
1/2 tsp Miso
28 g Rice Protein Powder
1/16 tsp Chili Powder
dash Cayenne
1/4 tsp Ginger Powder
1/2 tsp Konjac Powder
1 package Shirataki Noodles, well-rinsed (optional)

  1. Put cabbage, water, stevia, vinegar, miso, protein powder, and spices into pan and heat until boiling. (If you are using a high-powered blender, you can skip this step and let the blender heat your soup.)
  2. Put half of the cabbage in a bowl with the noodles and set aside.
  3. Put remainder of the hot mixture into blender and puree for about a minute. Add the Konjac Powder and puree again for another half a minute.
  4. Pour soup over the top of reserved cabbage and noodles. Stir & enjoy!
