2 teaspoons Better Than Bouillon Vegetable Base
2 cups water
1 dash asafetida
1 dash turmeric
1 dash curry powder
1 tablespoon minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/3 head cabbage, chopped
1. Mix bouillon base into water.
2. Put a little of the bouillon mixture into a saucepan, perhaps a couple tablespoons. Amount will depend on the size of the pan. You want just enough for sautéing.
3. Add asafetida, turmeric, curry powder, onion, and garlic. Sauté until aromatic.
4. Add remainder of bouillon mixture and cabbage. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
