Recipe: Cabbage in Curry Sauce over Noodles

1/2 tsp konjac powder
28 g rice protein powder, plain
2 cups water
1 tsp Better Than Bouillon Vegetable Base
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbs onion, minced
1 dash asafetida
1 1/2 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp cumin
cayenne pepper to taste
1/4 head cabbage, diced
1 package shirataki noodles

  1. Mix konjac powder into rice protein powder and set aside.
  2. Mix vegetable base into water. Pour a couple of tablespoons of the vegetable base mix into a pan. Set the rest of the vegetable base mix aside. Add garlic, onion, asafetida, curry powder, cumin, and cayenne to pan and sauté until aromatic.
  3. Put remainder of vegetable base mix into blender and turn it on. Add rice protein mix. Blend until mixed.
  4. Add cabbage and protein mix to pan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until cabbage is tender, stirring often.
  5. Rinse shirataki noodles under running water until the smell is gone. Add to cabbage pan and heat.
